Light sterile neutrinos, left-right symmetry, and 0??? decay

A bstract We investigate neutrinoless double beta (0 ??? ) decay rates in minimal left-right symmetric models presence of relatively light right-handed neutrinos. By use an effective field theory approach, we systematically include all contributions the model as well dependence amplitude on masses In type-I and type-II seesaw scenarios, analyze impact neutrinos heavier than about 10 MeV, showing that this effect can lead to a detection 0 next-generation experiments even for normal hierarchy large scale set by mass hypothetical gauge bosons. Finally, comment possible connection between strong CP problem.
